Getting There
How do I get to Avalon and back?
All packages include roundtrip express ferry tickets to/from Avalon. Depending on the package(s) you purchase, you will receive a specified number of Catalina Express tickets (see package details).
If you miss the ferry, it will be your responsibility to arrange transportation. Alternate transportation to the island can be arranged separately, but we are not responsible for any changes to this itinerary.
How do I get to the Beach Club?
Arriving at Avalon Harbor, make your way to Descanso Beach Club in one of the following ways:
WALK. We recommend this 20-minute scenic walk along the shoreline, especially if it’s your first time in Catalina.
RENT A GOLF CART. A good option if you would like to explore more of the island while you are there. Please arrange in advance.
TAKE A TAXI. Stands conveniently located by the harbor.
At the Club
Is it a full takeover?
Yes, the full beach club is ours.
Can I reserve my cabana or chaise location?
If you have a preferred location or want to be near another group, you can indicate in the checkout form. Take a look at the map at the bottom of the page to refer to location #'s. Selections will be considered in order received.
Food & Bev
Where and when will food and drinks be available?
Everywhere and all throughout the day! Food and drinks will be available on the ferry, at the club, and in Avalon if you want to explore the town.
FERRY OPTIONS. The Catalina Express has a fully stocked galley with drink service and food options.
DESCANSO BEACH CLUB. The Invasion venue offers a full menu of food and drinks that will be available for purchase throughout the day.
NOTE: Outside food and beverage is not allowed at the beach club.
